CBA simplifies a renewal series and increases membership retention
Client Challenge:
A popular sports membership organization needed to increase membership retention and personalize the promotion of renewals to its different segments Adult, Junior, and Family members.
The organization had been using one basic renewal message on a single response form to all member types in each of three efforts. Telephone response was promoted with postcards in efforts one and five.
CBA Solution:
CBA created five distinct renewal efforts, with individual taglines and Johnson Boxes each designed to pull on their own. The packages carry basic combination letter/response forms with different personalized versions for different file segments.
The new form design allows better organized price options and accomodates family member names in the Family Membership.
Included are an attractive four-color benefits insert and folder promoting telephone and web response.
Approximately three months after instituting the new renewal series, retention is running well ahead of last year.
